Venus v Marta Domachowska?

I have never seen Marta play? What are her strengths? Will she trouble Venus or will it be a straight sets win for the Wimbledon champ?

Well she took a set off Venus in Amelia this year and I'm sure Venus remembers that. Obviously Venus is playing alot more confidently now than she was then. I think Venus should win in 2 sets.

Saw some of her match she seem to have good ground stroke, good movement.
Attack weak second serve. That is all I observed today.
I am sure others will add to this

I think Marta is better on clay, and Isn't this tourny on a faster indoorr surface?

If it's the same venue as for the men last week, it's an outdoor tournament, and yes, the surface is supposed to be pretty fast.

According to the WTA website, it's outdoors, and 'hard court'. No indication if it's Rebound Ace or Deco Turf II. Not that Domachowska has had a good year on either surface. But she's lost her last six straight matches on Deco-Turf.

SAN DIEGO .........[10] CLIJSTERS..L 6-3 6-1
LOS ANGELES.......[106] HAYNES.....L 6-4 7-5
TORONTO............[35] DULKO......L 6-4 6-1
NEW HAVEN.........[122] PERRY......L 6-4 7-6
US OPEN............[60] PEER.......L 7-5 7-5
BALI...............[72] CAMERIN....L 6-2 3-6 6-4

Venus could lose this match, but I can't see Domachowska winning it.
