Tchakvetadze.

But it looks so ugly!

Why is it that the world never remembered the name of Johann Gambolputty de von Ausfern-

officially her name is with a T
but the T is silent
when she started her career she used Tchakvetadze
but dropped the T a couple of years ago.

Kewl... I actually like it with a T better. It seems more authentic.

The T is correct but she dropped it so people could pronounce it better lol.
I prefer it with the T.

I prefer her name with the T as well.
I like names that look challenging (to an English speaker that is).

Vesnina...de Vroome...Shvedova
Lucic-Baroni...Arruabarrena...Lim
Hantuchova...Dellacqua...Cetkovska
Mattek-Sands...Uberalova...Hsieh

Why she couldn't have a normal name, like chakova or chakenova?

She has a Georgian surname with the special suffix "adze" if I'm not mistaken... Many people from Georgia has surnames ended with "adze" or "szwili"
