Too Many Injuries!!!!!

There has been way too many injuries lately.
Venus, Davenport, Capriati have been injured.
This week Schiavone, Peschke, Sharapova, Pierce, Chakvetadze, Serena, Ivanovic all withdrew from matches and Kirilenko, Hantchova and Linetskaya all retired from matches. And also Mykina twisted her ankle in her 3rd round match but some how pulled it out and Kuzetsova got injured in her match in the 3rd round.
Who is going to be left at the US Open. I know some people will be better before it comes because some werent that serious but I hope there is a decent draw at the US Open this year.

NICOLE VAIDISOVA

Dokic - Hantuchova - Zakopalova - Minella - Szavay - Bammer - Safarova
Stanciute - Panova - Gubacsi - Cibulkova - Cirstea - Hofmanova - Cetkovska

Venus injured with the flu?
Seriously, I thought that's all she had.

I agree that has been so many injuries, I hope they can all comeback fit and healthy at the USO.

Hopefully most of them will make it to the US open. Many of them dont seem to serious I think they're just taking precautions because it's right before a slam.

It's still nothing to laugh at though. It could get worse or it could get better. Good on her to decide to rest.

Yeah it's quite many injuried players right now. But I guess that is a part of today's tennis, to keep the health up.

The biggest problem for the WTA is that all these injuries appear tobe happening around the same time, I fear for the USO, it could be a total non event.
