Awsome Serena

It is reported that the TV Guide's July 17-23 issue listed what was voted the 25 best sports accomplishments of all times. Guess what made that list as the 10th best sports accomplishments?

Hingis selection as POY? No!

Hingis winning the WTA tour Championship more than once? No!

A player's number of weeks as #1? No!

A player, such as Hingis, who ended the year as #1 more than once? No!

The 10th best sports accomplishments on that list is the Serena Slam. Oh, how I love it so!

I wouldn't exactly call that "bashing", nonetheless I don't get why you had to bring Hingis up at all.

Congrats to Serena and congrats to TV Guide for giving Rena the respect she so often doesn't get, but so richly deserves!!

Nobody is bashing Hingis. I don't know where you got that from. What is being said is that it is not the amount of weeks one is at #1 or how many times one has won the YEC it all has to do with will winning the slams.

What were the nine ahead of it, and were any of them tennis related>

Proud to be an American
Not blind. Not uninformed. We are party to atrocities. But the response of the world after 9/11 is worth noting. Even our most dire enemies offered aid. We should all be so lucky.
