Wrong Conclusions From Misleading Stats

I thought this might be a fun thread to try. So here's how to play: take a statistic that is true, it could be any stat, and then use that stat to make an incorrect conclusion about a player. Here's mine:

Grass is Venus' worst surface because she only has 3 titles on it

Here's another one:

Because Seles had won 3 slams in 91 and in 92 she would have won 3 again in 1993 if it weren't for The Stabbing.

the French Open is Justine's worst tournament because she's had 3 early round losses there!(1st round, 1st round, 2nd round)

I heard that Angelique Widjaja only hit one winner against Anna Kournikova.
Therefore I assume that Angelique lost 0-6 0-6.

clay is myskinas best surface because she has won roland garros.

wrong ,because in 5 other years she lost 4 times in the first round and one time in the second.and in any other grand slam she has better results.

Just because Monica won 3 slams previous 2 years doesn't mean she wouldn't win 4 next year.

elena dementieva has blistering groundies so it's safe to assume she has a big serve.

Justine is short, small, and wore a baby-blue outfit in Miami, so that means she's cute and cuddly

Conchita Martinez' biggest victory came in 1994 on the grass at Wimbledon, where she defeated 9-times champion Martina Navratilova with a barrage of winning shots.

Mistakenly read as:
Conchita Martinez clearly excelled on faster surfaces, playing exceptional grass-court tennis to become the new Queen of Wimbledon.

You have long been my goal, been my chasing, been my soul. I have hung out on the edge. But I just couldn't let go. There's a time to forgive. There's a time to forget. Close your eyes, get ready, set. Walk me down this fall I'm taking but don't let me go yet. Oh let me go, sweetheart, throw me, around you, like you know me. And remember me too. Remember me too from a dream i had of you. Mary Margaret O'Hara | Dream I Had | Apartment Hunting | 2002.

smashnova has 9 titles - misread as "smashnova is consistent"
rofl!

if you have nothing important to say, please do so in non-tennis forum. if you have something you think is important, but is actually rubbish regarding anything other than tennis - please do so in the non-tennis forum. if you have something tennis related to say, but it's actually "OMG, X player is so h0t!1" or "who has the biggest boobs on the wtatour" please do so in menstennisforum, under "wta forum". if you have something important, tennis-related and interesting to say please do so. No one in the world can understand how much tennis means to someone, except another fan.
