Any news on Jen's return?

Has she entered any of the pre US Open tournaments.

I miss her.

Sorry if I appear ignorant, but I haven't been on here for a while.

She withdrew from New Haven, which is a week prior to the US Open.

Maybe she'll return at the beginning of 2006. It doesn't make sence to return nox, if she isn't fit.

By the way I see her chances for a great comeback higher than now. All the top players have a high level of confidence now, she would losse to nearly erverybody out there. In January everybody had a 2 months break,so...

maybe it would be the right decision to come back next year or onlya few smaller tournaments this year...i really like jen, but for me it´s at the moment hard to believe the she will still be able to play on top again.for sure she is strong-willed and she has a lot of power, but i think it´s complicated to come back after such a long time...we shouldn´t forget that jen is one of the older players on tour and maybe a recovery needs longer...

The last couple years she has just missed out in the slams
But if she doesn't come back till next year, I think her chances at the slams will have gone down a lot because of lack of practice, other people match tough etc
Will be interesting to see if she somehow can make the USO.

Everybody should know that Capriati and Seles are DONE! Only minds under 5 year-old development can think about a comeback of these players... Only Navratilova can comeback these days. The VERY fatty players don't belong to the WTA Tour anymore. Well, they let Myriam Casanova play, but that's because the Swiss Federation is desperate...

I know it is tough when Someones favourite player is missing but waiting for the return of Jen is becoming like christians waiting for the return of Their buddy jesus!the main difference is there is a chance for Jen to come back, the tour would be better with Her on the job

BepaZvonareva Don't read my reps anymore, very relaxing Lydia Ko , Felicity Jones, Emilia Clarke, Rachel Khoo.

God, how old are you ? :retard: Yeah, insult the fatties I can't believe some people have so little respect for people playing the sport they like. A non-fit Jen, Monica, Casanova and a moonballing Conchita would beat the shit out of you, so I don't see the point in insulting them. You're sad.

Actually Jen is practicing right now and has been for awhile. The reason she isnt/cant return to action is because when they did her shoulder operation, the tightened up the joint as well as repairing the labrum tear she had. She can serve right now, but cant get as much velocity on it because the joint is still too tight and it hurts when she trys to amp it up. With a few more months of physical therapy and strecthing of the joint, she will have her serve back. But besides the serve, she is hitting groundies, volleys, etc... and is cross training. It kind of reminds me of Kim's situation---she was able to train and hit forehands, one-handed slice BHs, volley, and serves during her injury lay off, just couldn't hit her 2-fisted BH. So when she was finally healed, she wasn't rusty at all because she had been playing and practicing everything but one stroke--- same thing for Jenny now. She most likely will return in the fall or the beginning 2006 and be just fine!!!
