The single best shot you have ever seen?

of course for me, it is Mary between-the-legs winner against Seles in RG 2000. that was simply amazing, no other words to describe that shot.

also in the YEC in 2001, on match point for Serena against Justine, Serena hit a backhand overhead/drop shot right over the net all with a broken string and i remember just sitting there thinking what shitty luck for Justine. that shot was pretty hot as well.

azarenka - pavlyuchenkova - li - jankovic
garcia - bencic - paszek - rus - kanepi - kuznetsova - stephens
bouchard - karatantcheva - larcher de brito - voegele - lim - mladenovic

mary pierce - forever #1
vaidisova - kournikova - golovin - henin
the boys - federer - gasquet - del potro - haase - nishikori

Yes I saw this 2 shots live on TV. I was in shock....

I remember Myskina saving a MP against Zvonareva at San Diego last year with a great shot.
Vera served and volleyed a long and crossed forehand volley. This would have been enough to win the match (as I thought!) but Nastya ran like a rabbit and hit an incredible forehand through Vera. Vera was disgusted and eventually lost the match.

Anastasia Myskina

too many to mention
but looking through my champs tape Serena was featured in like 7 of the top 10 shots of the tournament hahaha. she had a great rally with Myskina that ended with her hitting an amazing backhand passing shot.
Venus hit a one handed backhand passing shot vs Srebotnik at Wimby 03 that was OFF THE HOOK!
Maria hit a great lob against Serena at the AO after this amazing rally that Serena could only applaud and smile at
and any damn thing that Roger Federer does.

any Venus shot...no im joking. lol

But there have been a few good ones. I remember probably the best volley iv seen was when Serena saved the match point against Clijsters at AO 2003, she approached the net and just (i mean just) managed to reach the fhand volley. I think with it being MP it was probably more exciting then it being at 15-15 or something.

Serena hit a succession of unbelievable winners when she demolished Hingis at the US Open in 2000, along with a 1st serve percentage of 100% in the second set One shot in particular was an off balance hooked extreme angle cross court backhand, she just could'nt miss that day

Also credit to Hingis for a fantastic forehand winner down the line against Venus in the semis of the USopen (which she lost). Hingis wasnt well known for hitting winners but it was an amazing shot, she was at full stretch, pulled right out of the court, and put it deep and right on the side line.

2001 not 2000.

I have that match as well. She just couldnt do anything wrong that day!!!!

J-Mac just couldnt believe it when the stats came up and Serena had a 100% first serve percentage in the second set!

How much I dislike Pierce, that shot against Seles at RG00 is the best I've ever seen.
