Worst Reaction to Winning a Major

what's your least favorable reaction of someone winning a major? whether they were too 'in your face', didn't get excited enough, what kinda ruins it for you?

I think it's not very favorable reaction when someone's favorite gets beaten and they have to watch the other player being all happy. But other than that, who isn't excited to win a major?!

I remember thinking how very unhappy Anastasia Myskina looked for winning her first major. Though it is totally understandable.

my other pick was steffi graf's 95 uso win over seles. after the match she left monica waiting at the net while she ran to her friend box before shaking hands. it was incredibly tacky to say the least, but we are talking about steffi graf

I think those kinds of reactions (Sveta and Anastasia) are more because they can't really believe that they just won. It's really understandable.

I don't know if it's just me... but Venus' reaction was amazing and 'slap Davenport in the face' as well... she BARELY recognized Lindsay in her speech (in fact Sue had to pry it out of her)

They played Serena winning over her injured sister Wimbledon 03 and that was hardly any happiness at all

Sveta definetly, I would have expected a bit more.

Concerning Nastya...she´s even too polite and too nice to celebrate a slam

Next time, when she´s not playing one of her friends in the finals (wohever that might be...can only think of one person), she will probably do all the jumping and screaming and crying and whatever

I would disagree,Sue took the mic away from Venus, and interjected LIndsay, who's to say Venus wasn't getting there...just not soon enough for Sue's taste....

I loved Steffi's reaction to winning the 95 US Open final!!! It was ginuine not the fake smile losers have to paste on during the trophy presentation

"And for the best of the teen-agers who followed her, and who occasionally referred to her as over the hill, Graf had a ready answer: against top-ranked Martina Hingis, Graf wound up 7-2. Graf's stirring 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 throttling of Hingis at the French Open final this June was perhaps the most emphatic parting shot the game has ever seen. "

Nastya is too polite and nice to celebrate, yet she will swear bounce her racquet and curse her coach and shoot him death stares....you right that girls as quiet as a mouse.
