Cara Black sets a new record in a Grand Slam (probably never to be broken)

Cara won yesterday her second Wimbledon doubles titles (third if we count her mixed doubles success last year) but she's the only player in history to have these two doubles titles in 2004 & 2005 in addition to the 1995 & 1997 doubles titles she got in Wimbledon as a junior player

Some interesting facts:

*Cara won the 1997 junior singles title in Wimbledon too without dropping a single set (she didn't have to play even a tie break)

*2 weeks earlier in Roland Garros she would reach the final without dropping a set (wins over Clijsters and Loit included) only to lose in 3 tight sets against Henin

*Cara has won her 5 Wimbledon doubles titles win 5 different partners (Horn-Huber, Stubbs, Selyutina, Olsza & his brother Wayne)

*Exactly 10 years ago Cara and partner Aleksandra Olsza would beat (again!) Amélie Mauresmo and Amelie Cocheteux in route of her first title in Wimbledon.

No wonder now why Cara deserved that WC in Main Draw

But I, being poor, have only my dreams
I have spread my dreams under your feet
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams

she was such a promising junior. it's too bad she never grew better than that in singles.
bag mental problem, I say - as her doubles career is nothing less than amazing.

if you have nothing important to say, please do so in non-tennis forum. if you have something you think is important, but is actually rubbish regarding anything other than tennis - please do so in the non-tennis forum. if you have something tennis related to say, but it's actually "OMG, X player is so h0t!1" or "who has the biggest boobs on the wtatour" please do so in menstennisforum, under "wta forum". if you have something important, tennis-related and interesting to say please do so. No one in the world can understand how much tennis means to someone, except another fan.

I'm confused. Cara is the first player in a long time to win back-to-back Wimbledon DOUBLES titles?

Having previously won the same tournament twice as a junior, yes
