Tennis Question

On Match point, today Venus dodged a ball from Dani that went long.

I know that if it touched her raquet and fell on her side she would lose the point.

The question is: If the ball had hit her body though obvioully going out, Would she have lost the point??

If so, Venus did a great job of dodging this ball!!!

YES!

So yes, she did a great job. That should be a strategy actually if you know you're going to hit it out, aim for the opponent.

If you're standing inside the court and a ball hits you, you lose the point.
If you're standing outside the court and a ball hits you before it has bounced, you win the point.

it doesn't matter whether Venus was standing outside or inside the court, if the ball hit her without bouncing, Daniela would win the point

Wrong.

If the ball would to have hit Vee on the full, before bouncing. The point would then be awarded to Her opponent. Regardless of where she was postioned on the court.
