Ladies and Gentlemen, Play is suspended

I can't believe have actually missed those words. You have to admit Wimbledon without a rain delay is no Wimbledon at all

A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening ear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.

This makes things interesting for some players. Now the courts will play more like a grass court instead of a hard court. This will definately help players like Roberta Vinci, Lindsay Davenport, Ana Ivanovic, and Eleni Danillidou. It will hurt players like Clijsters, Pierce, Pennetta, and Safina.

The roof on Centre Court will be there in 2008 I think. The rain's stopped now for a while anyway and tomorrow/Monday/Tuesday look pretty dry so I don't think we'll have too much rain this year.

Luckily it was a short one. We hava had it, now no more rain delays for the rest of the tournament

I would not count on it. After today the courts must be baked. Furthermore it is going to be dry from tomorrow on.

What else would they show? A match that we're interested in watching? Fat chance.
