Will Suarez & Ruano Pascual make 3 more finals?

I was reading about there win on RG.com when I found something I didn't know:
'Suarez and Ruano Pascual hold the second-longest streak of consecutive major doubles finals reached - nine between Roland Garros 2003 and Roland Garros 2005. Only Martina Navratilova and partner Pam Shriver have fared better, appearing in eleven finals between Wimbledon 1983 and the Australian Open 1985. '

Do you think that they will make a few more finals & beat Martina & Pam's streak??

I think Wimbledon will be the hardest but they can definitely do it...

Edit: They didn't play in the AO doubles, I didn't think they did so I checked. I guess one was injured & it doesn't count towards their streak.

Didn't they lose in the semis at Wimbledon last year ?

Actually from RG 2002 until Wimbledon last year they were on a streak of 9 consecutive finals. Black and Stubbs stopped them

OK thanks, I wasn't sure, I was going by what Roland-Garros.com said about their win.

Do they just make stuff up???? I mean what was the point in writing an entire false paragraph that could have easily been checked.

A mistake on the official site? Quel suprise! And this is tennis' official portal to the world. No wonder the sport is viewed as inept.

They're not alone. There were various reports that Pierce was the first women's over-30 slam singles finalist since Navratilova at Wimbledon in '94. (Actually it was Graf, 5 years later.) Some did get it correct by identifying Pierce as theoldest since Nav (4 months older than Steffi was).

Or the news reports that kept mentioning Mauresmo's four "consecutive" Italian Open finals, for that matter.

Best left-right combination by a German (and that includes Max Schmeling): Steffi Graf. All she did in 1987 was knock Navratilova out of #1 and try to knock Evert out of the sport. (Mike Lupica in "The Best and Worst of Tennis in 1987", World Tennis)

"A couple of years ago, we nicknamed Steffi Graf's forehand 'Jaws'. And that music would go perfectly when she starts running in to the net, swarming on that little ball." (JoAnne Russell, during the 1988 Wimbledon final between Graf and Navratilova)
