Is it rude to say...

Thank goodness Roland Garros is over? The quality of tennis was very bad this year. And the final was boring...credit to JHH, she out hit Pierce, but I was hoping to see a good match. It's tragic that the closest matches of the event were close because of errors.

The women's Roland Garros final has been of distastrous quality 2 years in a row now.

Happiness is like a cat. If you try to coax it or call it, it will avoid you. It will never come. But if you pay no attention to it and go about your business, you'll find it rubbing up against your legs and jumping into your lap. - William Bennett

Yep it was pretty awful. No players really played at their best. And that final was indcredibly dull.

Still Justine deserved it I guess. But MAry could have at least made her fight.

Nope....the tennis was never great. Hopefully Wimbledon will bring better tennis.

I agree, I was also hoping for an exciting match. They can't blame it on the sisters this time.

Thank goodness for the Federer and Nadal match. The kid (Nadal) is something to be reckoned with.

Congrats go to Justine.

WTA tennis just has one great clay player, and that is Justine, that makes it very boring

That final was just painful to watch...I thought it was a good first week, with some surprisingly close matches, but as the tournament went along it seemed to get worse.

Yea, hope Wimbledon is much better, especially as I'm going!!!

The two players playing the best tennis got to the final. If their quality was so bad then someone else should have stepped up to take the title.
