What would this board say if any women said this after a loss

This is what Roger Federer said after his loss to Nadal

from the official Roland Garros website...

Federer's goal of winning the only Grand Slam title that has eluded him was shattered.

"My disappointment is obvious," Federer said. "I was in the final four and with a chance to win. I was trying my best and didn't always play that well. In know I can beat him on any surface. It's a pity he beat me here. But it's tough to impose yourself in five sets on clay and especially when he's a lefty and hits with so much spin. I didn't think he played much better than me. I had the keys to beat him if I played my best. I played poorly to finish and he was consistent and solid."

The board woul be in a frenzy if Serena said this after a loss.
It just to show you that every top player is a little cocky.

Let's face it, this board gets in a frenzy WHATEVER Serena says. Some people here roam around the internet like heat-seeking missiles looking for any little thing to put a bad spin on.

I must admit... Federer is far beyond one of the best male players around. He has reason to be cocky! It suits him.

Federer is very confident when he speaks and that statement does come off a little cocky. But when top players talk like that there's a lot of truth in it because they can back it up.

He is hard on himself and that is what we would expect from a great champion.
Just along as he can move forward and learn from this match.

Federer was telling the truth. Serena, when she says it, is telling the truth too. Usually she says it after some crappy performance, but if she played her best, she would have probably won easily.

For him that's mild. "Arrogant" for FedEx was when he said last year (re. whether A-Rod or Lleyton was his main challenger) something like: "Good, I get to pick my rival". If Serena Said THAT, it would have started a nice little war here!

It's the truth And also, when Serena says this, it's usually the truth too. It's not cocky, it's just stating the facts.

Don't forget, though, this is only Roger's third loss of the year. It's not often people beat him. Serena has lost to lots of people over the last couple of years and almost always said something like that. And Roger has lost only to the very top players, or in the case of Gasquet, someone with such visible talent that there is no doubt he will be a top playter soon,

But today should have been more of a wake up call to him. Nadal is close to his level, certainly above his level on clay. Whether he will fair as well in the grass and hardcourt seasons is yet to be determined.

But Nadal is the fastest man on the tour, seems to have unlimied energy, and great shotmaking ability. Roger should be worried, very worried.

I have a great respect for Serena, but she hasn't won 6 tournaments this year (like Fed), so his form clearly substantiates his words. Note- in the past, I think she was too heavily ostracized by people when she performed poorly- but was clearly the world's most dominant player.
Serena may not have won 6 tournaments but she has won the one that matters, a grand slam, Austrailian Open...

I'm sure Federer would trade ALL his 6 tournaments in for a victory at this year's Austrailian Open...

You'd have the status quo.

Petty bitchery despite everything said
by her being totally spot on.

Federer is ugly. He really has no reason to be cocky. Atleast Nadal is HOT.

(1/20/17) Just discovered this gem in my private messages from 2006:
Who is Rtael?
This guy Rtael ,brainless and ignorant, is one of the most obnoxious, arrogant and coward guys whos has been a pest in this forum for years now.Given the new anti-bully policy he'll probably be expelled soon. Observe how he tries to rally and gang others against you. Mean people like him shouldn't be allowed here. And all because he "doesn't like your attitude"!!
**Everyone should consider themselves warned!**
