Justine's Confidence

Yesterday's ESPN interview with Justine was pretty revealing IMO, in that when they questioned her about how she was going to handle Mary Pierce's apparent stalling tactics, Henin-Hardenne simply mentioned that she knew Mary well and respected her and her game, but that she would "handle the situation" (with a wry smile). I just can't wait to see the match tomorrow- should be a real firecracker!

There is nothing more beautiful than Evonne Goolagong in full flight moving across a tennis court.

Henin can’t help but be confident not only because of her record against Pierce but that in general she’s a better player. It doesn’t assure her a second Roland Garros crown but there’s less worries in the Henin camp than there is in Pierce’s.

I know I am bias, but JHH is a true professional and can handle any situation regarding tennis.

She is "the champ"!

Why do people call them tactics? That's the way Mary has played since i've followed her career since 94. She plays at her own pace like or not that's her style.

"Hatred is the coward's revenge for being intimidated" - George Bernard Shaw

"And for the best of the teen-agers who followed her, and who occasionally referred to her as over the hill, Graf had a ready answer: against top-ranked Martina Hingis, Graf wound up 7-2. Graf's stirring 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 throttling of Hingis at the French Open final this June was perhaps the most emphatic parting shot the game has ever seen. "
