Was this what decided the match??

pts at net won. justine 10/13

sveta 1/2. wtf??? is she afraid of the net?

It was a close match and my girl used a serve and volley play to hold for 5-4 I believe.

love it when the player who has the courage to move forward wins!

then that is still a better stat for justine. may be how they tally it, but the player coming forward more often is exerting that little bit more pressure which can make the difference in a tight match. if i come forward 24 times as opposed to 13 and still have a better % conversion then i like my chances if the match is VERY CLOSE. that extra little bit of pressure can lead to some crucial UE's from your opponent!

i think that those were the 3rd set stats that i got from the Polish scoreboard. since it came down to the third set, then i think coming forward gave juju the very slight edge leading to some of sveta's feeling like she has to go for so much. certainly, both ladies made a lot of UE's, but that is their game style: high risk!

The funny stuff is Justine wasn't really taking risks today, when she did she usually made an error!
She was playing kinda weird today!

i think she knew that kuzy can defend very well so justine felt that prolong the rallies and keeping the ball as deep as possible might lead to sveta's errors and it worked!
