China Russia Showdown: (2) Dinara vs. (4) Na

Na Li is playing her first ever clay court tournament and defeated Cohen-Aloro, Pratt and Randriantefy (easily!).

Dinara has racked up many lower tier clay court titles and is the favorite in this tournament.

Both women are moving up the rankings and are in the 35-40 range.

Na wants to break the #36 barrier and make history for China.

Dinara wants to find the form that led her to the Paris title.

Both women are chasing Roland Garros seeds.

Who will win this match? I hope Na Li but given her losses to Russians this year and Dinara's experience on clay I think Dinara will take it in 3 sets

Go Li Na!

Hopefully Dinara won't have a hissy fit over this.

Think D. Safina will win, in straight or 3 sets.

If Li Na beats Dinara, she will have 811.5+24+10=845.5 points. If Gisela loses her SF, the Li Na will be ranked #35 (new Chinese record). If Gisela wins her SF, she will be ranked #36. (ties record)

LI NA or NA LI?
I always see LI as her last name so I assume her name is NA LI.

Anyway, I think Safina will win but it really doesn't matter if Li wins, I just want them to lose to Dulko (if she makes the final).

Her first name is Na and her family name is Li, so yes her name is Na Li.

However, in China they always say surnames first so that's why you'll hear people say Li Na. Li Na is most likely how she her friends and family calls herself.
