Does Anybody Collect Tennis Memorabilia Such As Old Magazines?

This is almost a total repeat of what I posted on MTF. I occured to me that somebody here might care too. I have a few that feature Capriati and Venus and/or Serena, afterall.

I ask this because I'm moving and have a STACK of old tennis magazines. They aren't old enough to be anything all that exciting. They are from about 2001 onward. American Tennis mag, Tennis Week, Aussie Tennis mag... I have a weird collection of all of those.

Anyways, I was just going to chuck them because I'm tired of moving them around everywhere. But if anybody likes old magazines that their favourite may have featured in, I can skim through them tomorrow and post a list of who has the cover, what the main articles are and blah. I'm not going to run down the table of contents for each, but you get the idea.

If there is something you want out of the list, I might be able to make arrangments.

If this thread dies a horrible death that's cool. I'll just chuck all of the stuff. I just didn't want to chuck it if somebody else night consider any of it of value.

Thats nice of you Rebecca

Make sure you won't regret it. I threw out about ten years of tennis magazines at the end of the '90s when I left the UK, and I'd kill to be able to read them now! The only one I kept was ASV winning Roland Garros in '89.

Thanks for the advice. No worries, I'm keeping all the ones that have personal favourites in them

I have the American Tennis mags from that period (I think) and all of the Tennis Week. I'd be interested in any non-US mags.

I'll have a look at which Aussie mags I have and get back to you. I'll post when I get up tomorrow. I don't have that many of the Aussie ones, probably about half a dozen.

Bump.

Reason is poor propaganda when opposed by the yammering, unceasing lies of shrewd and evil and self-serving men.

One final bump. I have a lot of US Tennis mag covers of Venus and/or Serena. The period spans the period that they were winning um, everything. I have the cover from the first "sisters final".

I'll chuck most of these if nobody wants them. PM if you do
