In the case of Venus Williams (one of my favorites at least), I would LOVE to see her wear the new stuff from Ralph Lauren. It's so simple yet elegant and just very much something she would wear. Plus I think she looks great in polo shirts!

No offense, just my opinion... but as far as designers are concerned I think Ralph Lauren is the absolute worst, ugliest, most overpriced CRAP I've ever seen. It hurts my eyes and my sense of faith in mankind.

But I would LOVE for designers to have more input in sports... after all some athletes are full blown celebrities... so instead of wearing a frumpy nike shirt, why not shift into 5th gear with a cute prada ensemble or a delicious dior dress???

But yeah, I'd definitely have Hingis/Dulko wear Dior's red/gold/green winter collection... just amazing... and it would certainly send more of a fashion statement then some of the players wear now.

Definitely not Nike. She looked good in Reebok, and better in Adidas. And looked nice in Polo/Ralph Lauren.

Probably Adidas as my first choice, although something other than their current roadkill pattern. Preferably a classic look, either a dress or shirt/skirt (not too tight), and in a simple color pattern. None of that crazy stuff, like Nike's shower curtain pattern from a few years ago.

Fortunately, my current fave is a lot like Julie Halard-Decugis, in that all sorts of clothes look good on her.

Q. After your performance, your great performance in the Australian Open, do you feel like people are expecting more from you, and yourself are expecting more?
Amélie Mauresmo: No.

I wouldn't mind Mauresmo wearing those shoes... when she's playing one of my favourites!

Those Venus outfits are just not her, in my humble and gracious opinion.

I want to see Venus in a catsuit, although, I don't know how good she'll look!

Let them eat cake.

smashnova in bjork's swan dress.
just for the heck of it

if you have nothing important to say, please do so in non-tennis forum. if you have something you think is important, but is actually rubbish regarding anything other than tennis - please do so in the non-tennis forum. if you have something tennis related to say, but it's actually "OMG, X player is so h0t!1" or "who has the biggest boobs on the wtatour" please do so in menstennisforum, under "wta forum". if you have something important, tennis-related and interesting to say please do so. No one in the world can understand how much tennis means to someone, except another fan.

Venus had this shorts deal at the AO, about the best thing I've seen her wear.

Venus might as well get her mail forwarded to Serena's shadow. She's going to be there forever!

I almost split my sides laughing by imagining Amelie squeezed into that little number.

I'd like to see Venus in Halle Berry's 'Catwoman' outfit on court. She could have the whip too, crack a few winners with it
