For me it's in 2001, Kim & Jen were both very impressive. In any case the finale between Myskina and Dementieva was definately the worst....

Serena and Venus. It was their most interesting match and the first time that Serena beat Venus in a major. Very powerful and unrelenting display

Career Grand Slam in your 20s? Been there done that. Career golden slam your 30s?
There's only 1.
Serena.

That's an unbelievably easy question! The Jen-Kim final was outstanding, even though it wasn't the highest quality.

Cap -v- Kim
Serena -v- Venus

the other two were snores.....garbage finals.

"Hatred is the coward's revenge for being intimidated" - George Bernard Shaw

"And for the best of the teen-agers who followed her, and who occasionally referred to her as over the hill, Graf had a ready answer: against top-ranked Martina Hingis, Graf wound up 7-2. Graf's stirring 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 throttling of Hingis at the French Open final this June was perhaps the most emphatic parting shot the game has ever seen. "

The '01 final was the best match, but for me the '02 final was the most beautiful simply because it was Williams vs. Williams.

Judging by the scorelines alone I'd say Capriati vs. Clijsters. I only actually saw Myskina vs. Dementieva.

Anastasia Myskina versus Elena Dementieva

The meeting of two close friends and the start of the Russian revolution... though it could have been a more entertaining match!
