Charleston has been great. There have a been a couple of twists and turns . The veterans vs. the youngins. Lisa Raymond, Venus, and petrova lose to Golovin. Justine beats Jankovic, Peng, and Golovin. Vaidisova beats Myskina and Asagoe. Kostanic beats Silvia Farina. Barbora Strycova beat Conchi. Lindsay can't play on clay for two straight weeks competitively. Justine might do the same thing Clijsters did. Get to the quarters in her first tourni and then win the next. Vaidisova, Jankovic, and Golovin find the Myskina way to win on clay. Hit hard. Move well. Get everything in. None of those players really have even a year of clay court experience. Vaidisova finally learned how to circle questionable shots in her third match of the tourni. I thought it was a good tourni overall. There's finally a good final after 3 years with two top 10 players. Henin-Hardenne is playing like a top 10 player even thought she isn't ranked there.
