It is fucking freezing in Charleston the last couple of days. People in the stands are wearing blankets and 3 levels of clothes just to watch tennis. Some had on gloves. It was warmer in Philadelphia yesterday than in Charleston. I was looking for a hot cocoa stand for a minute and then decided alcohol would be the next best thing. The FCC loves this weather though. People are buying the 30 dollar hoodies and 20 dollar blankets as soon as they come out.

give me a break, it is not THAT cold and certainly nowhere near freezing. The temp got up into the low 60s yesterday. Two years ago they were playing matches in 40-45 degrees and drizzle, this is nothing in comparison. I had to wear my ski hat a couple of days that year. Last year, as well as '02, the weather was amazing all week with temps 75-85 and no rain, so Charleston has given the tournie its share of good weather.

My guess is that you will be extremely underdressed, should you ever play on Antarctica.

Well like I said don't ask me. Ask the FCC tournament and look at the sales of blankets and hoodies from last year and the year before to this year. See if there's a substancial change. A lot of people considered it cold even the players. I knew what the temperature was going to be like before the tourni and I brought 3 jackets. That was not enough. But since you find it so amazing how about you stand in those Teir III seats at night time on aluminum in 40 degree weather with a wind gusting to 35 mph. If you find it appealing then kool but still respect my judgement call and the thousand's of people at the FCC in the last two days. At least do that. Thanxs.

It was in the high 50s yesterday in Charleston for a high. The wind wasn't as bad but today it will be in the low 60s with a wind gusting to 52 mph soo...by night time it wioll be a tad nippy.
