Will Lindsay final overcome her mental hump against the "Belgian Sisters" today?

She's lost to Henin-Hardenne four times in a row and six times in a row to Kim Clijsters. She hasn't beaten either of them in at least three years now. While she's always been competitive in her losses, I get the feeling she really doesn't BELIEVE she can beat them anymore.

She's got her best chance to do so in quite some time today though. Henin-Hardenne is still going cautiously in her comeback, and although she's playing well hasn't returned to full form. A complete choke by Sharapova was the only reason she got a set against her in Miami. Lindsay is playing the best clay court tennis of her career at the moment, but it's her worst surface while it's Justine's preferred choice.

What do you all think? My guess is that Davenport gets over the hill in a tight three setter- 6-2 5-7 6-4. It'll take Davenport a few match points, maybe even serving it out more than once...but she'll get it done.

well if there's a tournament and a moment to beat Justine, it would NOW before the Belgian turns hot and goes on a rampage in the future. Lindsay SHOULD win tomorrow even though it is on clay simply because she is more match tough than Justine. All the pressure is on the Dav tomorrow and for Justine, its still a learning process and trying to get back to her norm.

A complete choke by Sharapova? LOL. How about awesome fight from the great champion Juju.

I dont think Lindsay will, not against Henin-Hardenne on clay.

At this point I would say Davenport goes into this match with a 60-40%advantage over Henin despite this being a clay tournie, its really not like red clay so Davenports groundies still fair better on green clay, on red I would say Henin at this point in time would have a 55-45 advantage. I really dont know whos gonna win but it should be an interesting match at least, It will really show us how far Henin's progress has gone in terms of finding her old form.
