Post Has Monica Seles ever not grunt in a point?

It's very questionable. I was just watching a tennis tape and every SINGLE point she grunted!I'm not saying its annoying cause its not. Heres my main question. Has Seles ever NOT grunt in a point?

Many times she doesn't utter a peep in an entire match.

The most famous occasion when she didn't grunt at all was the 1992 Wimbledon final. Tauziat and Navratilova had complained about the noise to the umpire during the QF and SF matches which whipped the press up into a frenzy and so Monica was harrassed on the subject. In the final she just was not able to play without the grunt so it was a pale imitation of Monica who lost tamely to Graf.

Monica tends not to grunt at all at the very beginning of matches. But as the match wears on and especially in really tight/important matches the grunts become louder and more frequent.

I'm curious as to why Monica's grunting still seems to be an issue for some given that almost EVERYONE on tour grunts now, and many of them louder than Monica.

she didn`t grunt in an exhibition in 89, I know because she told once that she was introduced to the crowd as the player who grunts and then she didn`t give any noise

I go walking in my sleep
Through the desert of the truth
To the river so deep
We all end in the ocean
We all start in the streams
We're all carried along
By the river of dreams
In the middle of the night

if i'm not wrong, during a final with martina hingis at the pan pacific or some tournament... Monica was double-bagled 6-0,6-0... apparently she didn't really grunt...

I look at people like Andre Agassi and Monica Seles, and of course what they did. I was always amazed at how Monica came back after so long and did so well. I try to keep that as an inspiration. He who doubts loses. (Serena Williams)
