Talking V. Williams (5) Def. Martina Sucha 6-0, 6-1

Venus serves up a bagel and a breadstick with a BP conversion rate of 100%. Her serving wasn't that bad either. The only time she was in trouble, if you want to call it that, was when she was serving for the match, when she was broken.

No suprise for me. Sucha is the worst player i saw live ( and i have been in Sopot event since 1993). I really don't know how can she be in the top 100

Well, I expected Venus to clean her clock but didn't think it would be so quick. I agree with a previous poster about Sucha, she's not that good. But a win good for Venus -- hope she can keep it up.

"I'm always happy when the Williams sisters win. I support them; I don't know why. They can lose, they can win, and they take it the same way. Maybe it's because tennis is not the biggest focus in their lives. But that they still end up winning Grand Slams is great." Roger Federer, July 2005

Well Wojket she got to three finals last year and won the title in Quebec (Tier III) - so that is why.

And why do we need six threads about this?

Well done Vee - good clean win - bad luck Martina but it was expected.

I do believe green clay is her strongest surface behind grass.
