Ok quick questions...

...I could just look this up, but you lovely people will know the answer (s)...

1-Is the girl that Maursmo beat 61 64 in the QF, the same gal that Vee beat last fall 76 76?

and

2-Kim is the first woman to win Miami without dropping a set? About Serena in 2002?

The answer to #1 is yes. Ana had set points in both sets against Venus in Zurich. Serena didn't lose a set in 2002, but was close three times. Once in her opening match in the first set, and in both sets of the final. Jen served for the first set, and served for the second twice, having 7 set points (2 at 5-3 Serena serving, 5 at 6-5 Jen serving).

Kim is the second woman to win 7 matches in Miami without dropping a set. Serena had a bye in 2002 and therefore only won 6 matches without dropping a set

Graf did that in 1987

128 W Manon BOLLEGRAF (NED) 6-1 6-2
64 W Elise BURGIN (USA) 6-3 6-4
32 W Sara GOMER (GBR) 6-1 6-0
16 W Kathrin KEIL (USA) 6-0 6-1
QF W Lisa BONDER (USA) 6-0 6-1 Three straight
SF W Martina NAVRATILOVA (USA) 6-3 6-2
FR W Chris EVERT (USA) 6-1 6-2
