I might be going to get rated next Sunday, since people from tennis NSW are doing assessments at a nearby association.

But generally, forehand is pretty heavy, I move people around a lot with it, it's my weapon. Backhand is solid, nothing outstanding, just consistent. Volleys are up and down, but generally ok. My serve must be the most inconsistent shot of all time. When its on, its like a Federer serve (but at a much lower level ) Not huge, but I mix it up well, and I can hit it anywhere I like. Some days, its worse than Dementieva on a bad day.

I'm pretty much, just a good player. Nothing special, no chance on earth of me amounting to anything decent.

uhm...

I think I've become pretty complete over the last four years...

I play double handed both sides, so due to training a lot, my footwork has become really good. I move well and I'm fast, basically because I have to. LOL! Weapon is definitely my forehand. I can play it any way I want to. Backhand can become a weak spot when it's being attacked constantly. But I can slice it well, so I have that as a back-up. Best shots are both forehand and backhand flat and hard down the line. I can use that one as I please... to attack and approuch, to finish a point or take over the rally.

Generally, the rest is ok... Have a hard flat first serve... effective outside second serve. Can mix the placement up pretty well, which makes it that I usually don't get a return winner smacked by me. I don't like coming to the net, I only go when I'm forced too, I can finish the point there, but I rather don't. Got good lobs and good dropshots.

Mentally... I'm just still not strong enough. I can get really pissed, still, too easily and lose focus!

Forehand is major weapon
Backhan like to hit very flat and slice a lot!
Smash is major weakness but weird coz im like 6"2 tall
Good Drop Shot
First serve is reliable and steady but can add pace when needed to
Forehand Volley is ok
Backhand Volley is pathetic!

Forehand is my major weapon
Backhand, I can hit hard but not consistent
Volley; I hit 3 volleys in my life
Smash; forget it!

So all my game is on ground strokes

i played less than 10 times, but i never lost yet
i slice WAY to much. it's just to much fun.
my backhand is really great, i admire my shot all the time
i have no forehand. nothing whatsoever. pathetic.
good netplay, i think - but i'm not sure - it's more of a good preparation so i only comeup when i KNOW i have the point, so maybe it's good anticipation.
i still don't serve with any style.

if you have nothing important to say, please do so in non-tennis forum. if you have something you think is important, but is actually rubbish regarding anything other than tennis - please do so in the non-tennis forum. if you have something tennis related to say, but it's actually "OMG, X player is so h0t!1" or "who has the biggest boobs on the wtatour" please do so in menstennisforum, under "wta forum". if you have something important, tennis-related and interesting to say please do so. No one in the world can understand how much tennis means to someone, except another fan.

I'm alright.

Serve - Looks like Molik's, just spin it in most of the time.
Forehand - Looks like Zvonareva's, heavy topsin.
Backhand - Looks like Clijsters', flat, best shot.
Volleys - Consistent, nothing special.
Speed/Endurance - Best part of my game.

Generally I'm just a counter-puncher, because I'm pretty quick.

I really appreciate people that can say their backhand is their best shot!
I had to work really hard on it, for like 2 years, doing drills to get it right... and it's still not phenominal... but I can handle it now!

we have that in common!
being quick can just frustrate the hell out of your opponent! lol, they have to close out every point like 6 times!

serve - normally consistent and well placed. lacks power.
fh - i can do ialot with it
bh - only slice it well

my best assets are speed and consistency...

last time i played the guy i hit with won about 5% of the points in our practice...the time before that i got flogged. so it depends what day u play me. one day im a 0 the next im a 10 lol

Good luck to the Aussie and Balkan girls!

hmm since every1 is analysing their game, this is mine:

forehand: good but flat atm- need more topspin and weight behind the ball
2h backhand: good - i can use my angles well with this shot, slice also works well
volley: can you spell c-r-a-p? needs LOTS of work
overhead: not bad/alright
serve: i can place it well and put different spins on, i just need to use my body more and get more power
footwork: average, sometimes i admire my shots too much!
so basically, i just need some power

I would say, the best part of my game is my mentality. I never give up and never count myself out of a match. I've won so many matches from set point or sometimes match point down. I'm pretty intense on court if I don't like my opponent and he's shouting and fist pumping too, so I give him some of my own back. If I'm winning easily I try and be more respectful and not be too verbal out there.

Shot wise, I would say my backhand has developed into my best shot, allround. It's really consistant right now, and my down the line is my favourite shot to play. My forehand is my biggest weapon when it's on and the most winners come from that side, but also, most of my errors. I'm really struggling this year (for some reason) with my hooked forehand cross court. Last year towards the end I could hook it Davenport style cross court with amazing angles but since coming back from the break this year I'm timing it all wrong.

My serve still needs a lot of work on, good first serve but second is I'm working on them today (serve and CC FH along with the ball toss).

Women's tennis sucks.
~

Go Rafa.

I'm okay, I can move good and my forehand is really good, but I have trouble with my backhand, never lost a set 6-0 before !! I see that as a good thing lol
