You can never trust Venus of today

I love Venus to bits but even before this match l couldnt trust that she would take care of business, she had so many chances but couldnt take any of them, as i said before the match if she beat Serena she should have won the title, Maria was good but Venus had chances to at least give herself a chance to get back in it!

Venus played well today. I'll repeat that. Venus played well today. Sharapova served better. Not much seperating the two.

This is really stupid. If Venus would have played the same as she did in Zurich last year against Sharapova she would have lost 6:1 6:0 or something. Todays match showed she is playing better but people are expecting too much too soon.

Maria did everything right and that's why she prevailed. Nothing more nothing less. Venus just has to get used to finishing the big points without becoming tentative and she will be fine.
