Miami QF showdowns better than any grandslam QF's

The QF' showdowns in Miami (all but one to be determined, more than likely a williams sister showdown) are better than any QF's of a Grandslam in recent memory in MY OPINION(many of you will disagree). This just goes to show the depth in woman's tennis and how much it has grown in 5 years alone. Even the weakest of the QF match up's (mauresmo vs ana) is still going to be a very interesting match as ana is a great up and comming player who has pushed mauresmo in the past. Good luck to all of the players, whomever wins their QF matches to move on will truly have to be playing their best

The sisters better come through! I do agre they really are mouthwatering prospects.
Justine vs maria is very intriguing, both players will want to establish their authority since they never played before.
Elena is not the same player kim played before the wrist injusry. Last week's win was marred by injury, elena has alot to prove. Kim will want to show that last week was no fluke either!
Ana has taken a set off amelie, can she take two this week? not if amelie has anything to do with it, she is the no.1 seed and in no mood to be upset!
If the sisters come through, that will even be more intriguing, Venus is gonna beat serna again sometime, venus seems motivated and serena has destiny with no.4 in a row, can Venus go down 6 straight times to any player?
All will be revealed, stay tuned.
As an aside, damn you lindsay for not spicing up the match ups here!

Rena- a tennis great! 22 at striking distance.

Yes, all those matches sure look really interesting and exciting. I wish I could watch them, but I only get semifinals and final coverage, ergh.

Clijsters vs Dementieva seem to be the most predictable one, IMO. Ivanovic can upset Mauresmo, but I still believe Mauresmo will be in the semifinal without much of a problem. Now the bottom half truly offers something special: All Williams (hopefully, if they both win tonight) and yet another Belgian-Russian clash: Justine vs Maria, my absolute favorites. Tough!

I would say that Mauresmo, Clijsters, S. Williams and Sharapova are the favorites, but I would like to see a Henin-Hardenne semifinal against Serena or Venus - though I want Venus to win because she definitely needs it more, I think Justine's chances are somehow better against Serena.

Good luck to all of them, especially my favorites and The Williams who have yet to make it to the quarterfinal. Not that there's anyone doubting they will.

Yes, some great matches.

BUT only if Kuzy pulled through, it'll be even better!

Yeah these are all great matches. Haven't seen an all Williams match in a long time. Justine vs. Sharapova will be interesting. I hope Justine and Serena advance, so we will get to see them play each other at semifinal. That would be super cool.

Not the same league...

I know a lot of people compare IW to Miami, but frankly there is no comparison. First the # of top players in the men's and ladies' draw and in the latter stages of the tournament, highlight that though both are Tier I events, they are not in the same league.

I just love Miami.
