Serena today.....lazy??

Watching Serena's match today, two thoughts, Peer is talented, and has a good game....but Serena....seems like she would rather be somewhere else today huh?

It seems like she wants to win without any effort. Playing several gears below her best, appears slugish. Agression is in and out, emotional hmmmm just all over the place.

Her footwork today is pretty mediocre. She is not setting herself up with her feet to hit good shots, doesn't really wanna give 100%.

Oh well im sure she will win but she will need to be alot more into things to go further in the tournament. She has sooooo many gears in her, she really needs to bring em out. Her footwork is just blah, she needs to stop being lazy!

Serena isn't lazy. She hasn't played a player like this since...Sandrine Testud. It's just irritating. She give her not a lot of pace, she runs around the court, comes up with amazing angles, can come to net and finish off a point, and she can hit winners with pace too. I think Serena just underestimated Peer.

Wow! She won 6-3, 6-3. Shahar is no slouch, she made Serena play.

LMAO, Serena just said exactly what you said: except she said Sanchez-Vicario.
