Wink Is Maria Sharapova becoming an unpopular tennis player with the crowds?

I think yes. The Australians didn't like her and neither did the Doha crowd. If this is case I think it's deserved. Her grunting is very annoying and so are her constant come-ons when it's not tight. She should tone it down

Every individual player has their own personality quirks, and eccentricities when they play. What YOU call annoying and inappropriate, I call an expression of her tremendous competitiveness and intensity on the court.

Who freaking cares if the crowds, supposedly don't like her? When it comes down to it, she gets the job done, and wins. If the crowd doesn't like her, that's their friggin problem.

the crowd can sometimes be a factor, especially if they start booing and say insensitive things

what I don't like is when she cheers her opponents DFs or celebrates after beating an injured opponent!

i must admit i do finding myself wishing for her to shutup when she's playing. not even Monica Seles' grunts bother me this much. it's not the most appealing and entertaining sound, thats for sure.

Hingis thought the same in the FO 99 final.
She had to pay for it.
Sharperova has to watch out. Her unfair and disturbing screams can make her very unpopular in the future. Until now people tend to smile and say, hey, she still is 17 years old only after all.

it doesn't suprise me at all that the crowd get irritated by sharapova.
If you make every match so much noise and look like you gonne shoot everbody it's normally that they don't like her. And i am one of them.

she's arrogant so what can u expect?

why would people like someone who screeches like she does, flicks her blonde hair the way she does and fist-pumps at her opponents double faults

people dont like arrogant players and sharapova is the cream of the crop of them

Either she stops pretty soon or she's gonna taste the FO crowd's wrath.
