Tell me what do you think about this?

Karolina has very bad results this year and if she gets out of this slump before Wimbledon it would be nice!

Sprem hasn't played awful. She lost to Safina, Schynder, Davenport, Stosur, and Chakveradze. She's lost three straight to Stosur. her game doesn't seem to work well against Stosur. She'll probably go up the rankings again. She's only hundred so points from being ranked 16.

She got into 4th round at AO before falling to Davenport. Not bad.Give her some time to find her rhythm and she'll do better

I just hope she can defend her Wimbledon points - otherwise her ranking will plummet.

she will get better again! and then she'll climb up the ladder again!
I don't think that she's played awful this year, a 4th round AO is not bad!!! but she had some bad luck with opponents in the other tourney's.

Everything will change
But,love remains the same

she just needs to string a few good wins together. with her, a lot of it is confidence. her coach said about a week ago that the problem is that she's not bringing the level of play at which she plays in practice to the matches - it's obviosly a mental thing. she's not used to being a top player that people want to beat

ugh, why do they all suck????????

That is NOT why Dokic is sucking.

Soooo many WTA players play like that and are still doing well.

well, thats what she's doing NOW. previously, she was able to control her errors. its horrible to see her slumping away cuz i really want her to win. i mean, with shett it was different. she hit the top winning tier 3's. but dokic had a good 2 years where she beat MANY tough opponents. and she has good volleys too...its just her approach shot that suck.

anyway, karolina reminds me a LOT of dokic. its so rare to see her hit a slice or mix up play.

It would be good, but she has always played that way and many players don't have plan B, like Sharapova, Dementieva etc. And problem with Dokic is (my opinion) that she has maybe found some other interests beside tennis and isn't fully commited to it!

Sharapova does have a plan B. In the two matches against Molik at Advanta and Doha, she took a little off the ball and angled the shots. She made Molik move. Dementieva's plan B is waiting or going all out on shots. Both of these players are always in matches even if they're down a set and a break because of their game. Sharapova is 9-0 in the last five months when she loses the first set and comes back to win the second. Obviously they have some kind of plan to come back if they're down. Sprem's problem is she doesn't direct the ball well. She's been keeping the ball in the middle of the court. That strategy might work against Venus but for anyone else it's asking for a loss.
