Smile Justine or Kim - Who'll Prevail in Their Next Match?

I understand Kim is on her way back - so she is still finding her true competitive form. Kudos to her for performing well and tough in Belgium.

Justine might be rusty when she comes back - but I'd bet big bucks that many would prefer not to see her on their side of the draw when she does.

Who'll win out of the aforementioned 'Belgium Sisters' - when they first play again?

I'm going w/Kim - and looking forward to the day when she topples Justine in a big match. It can happen.

I look forward to all of the top players and others - returning healthy and to form.

Kim is already playing and has had more time to regain her form, so Kim will win

Until we see justine this wil be hard to tell. Byut judging on the nature of illness/injury, kim seems to have the slighter edge.

Rena- a tennis great! 22 at striking distance.

Why are you people picking Kim? Until Kim shows improved mental strength there is no reason to believe she will all of a sudden come back and start beating Justine. Justine pretty much had her number before they were injured and until Kim shows she has countered that you would have to favor Justine.

I think it also depends on when they meet the first time.

Let's say they meet in the first tournament where Justine plays, and in the first round (which is possible since they both dropped in the rankings). In that case I'd say Kim, since she's already got match rythm, and Justine hasn't.

But on the other hand, it could last half a year before they meet (opposite halves of the draw, either or both of them not coming through to the final) - in that case I wouldn't have a clue, because I've no idea where they will stand at that point...

How can anyone tell? Why picking Kim? Why Justine?

1) we don't know when they'll meet.. they might even play a whole year without meeting eachother
2) we have no idea how both will be playing, if they'll ever get back to their old level.
3) you don't know where they'll meet, on what surface, in what circumstances.

Before both got injured I often thought Kim would win whenever they met before the final. When they meet in a final I thought Justine had more chances. We'll see if this still will be the case...

How can anyone know???

They may never even play each other again!!
That maybe seems unlikely, but tell me when was the last time Venus & Jennifer played each other??

They may play their next match in 2008! Who knows who will win then!

I have no idea.
When both will be back and have some match rhythm, I hope we will see what we saw at the Oz final in 2004: threesetters that are decided by a couple of points.

Damn, I just can't wait to see both of them back on the tour.

It is still far too early to say. Justine had the each before the 2 were injured, but it depends what level each one is at when they meet again.

This is my cool signature
