Extreme heat today at AO

temperature is forecast to be 97 F. I think they will have to close the roof for Molik vs Davenport, and then move Patty vs Dechy indoors to Rod Laver, bcuz its not fair to play one QF under the roof and the other in the sizzling heat...

Vogus...my friend. We are talking about organizers that
put Coria and David on to play til 2am the other night.
Fairness, isn't really the true agenda here.

Our Patty and H2's best mate, Nat will be getting baked today.

Time to bust out the Sunblock SPH98!!!!

Unless something major happens with the heat in the next 10 mins I don't think it will happen.

I dunno, their own rule says that once the temp reaches 35 C (95 F), play on the outside courts MUST be suspended. It will likely be 35 C within an hour (by 2pm). So unless the match is over really fast, they'll have to suspend it.

I really want them to play on RL! (fingers crossed!)
I've got errands to do...I'll be back- hopefully they'll have
closed the roof on RL and moved Patty/Nat as first match
of the day on RL with Alicia/BIG LD as second.

uhh Vodafone Arena HAS a roof, so they wouldn't move Patty-Nethalie anyway...BUT I wish they would so I could actually see the match!

The LD match is boring- it's on tv right now. I think it's bye bye
Molik in pretty soon.

Ok- I hope they switch ASAP to MC court...

hmm...they must have changed it then, coz when I looked at the schedule last night it was on Voda! But still I think they would have moved it to Voda if the heat rule came in, and not to RLA... which still sucks!
