I AM 99% SURE that she is out untill the clay season do to an injury. NOT RETIRED

Rita currently has tennis elbow injury. She has been struggling on and off with this problem for over a year.

However the good news is that she has definitely not retired and is planning on making a comeback soon.

She has applied for a special injury protected ranking in preparation.

This AO is the first GS tournie that Grande has not played since 1995 Wimbledon - she had appeared in 37 consecutive grand slams, one of the tour's longest streaks.
