Any news on Lisa Raymond's back strain?

Just curious as she had to pull out of her doubles match today.. She is still scheduled to play Myskina tommorow on MCA though.

I doubt her pulling out of doubles would have been a tactical move to concentrate on singles, so if anyone has any information please post it! I am looking forward to a good match

JELENA JANKOVIC

Martina Hingis - Anastasia Myskina - Ana Ivanovic - Marina Erakovic - Serena Williams

it's a shame.. I thought Lisa was on the track of winnin her first major... not likely to happen now that she's injured... sad.

Was it serious?

I really hope she recovers, is fully fit and ready to go up against Nastya. She's a gutsy player and it would be a shame if Nastya went through on a walkover.

If she is carrying an injury into the match, odds would definately plunge in the direction of Myskina (more so than they already are).

Get well Lisa please! (but Go Nastya )

Aw, this is very bad news for Raymond - she was in such marvelous form.
Although I'm a Myskina fan I hope she can recover in time to play some good tennis tomorrow - Players should never have to leave because of a stupid injury - and Myskina could use a good opponent to improve her game.

it is highly doubtful raymond will be able to play.... she may be out for a few weeks. very disappointing for lisa after a great start to the AO.

Myskina would beat Lisa anyway, injury or not.
