Navratilova/Hantuchova d. Musgrave/Wheeler 6-2 6-0

WOO-HOO!! Great match by Dani and Martina. This is the first time Daniela has won two consecutive matches in doubles since the '03 US Open. My friend saw the match live (lucky bitch) and said that Daniela was the star player out there So nice to see she's finally gotten her form back.

Next up for them is Asagoe/Srebotnik or Dragomir Ilie/Drake. Hopefully they can snag a quarterfinal spot. The Australian open is the one grand slam Navratilova has yet to reach the quarters of since she came back to the tour full time.

Great win by the girls..

and more importantly, Martina never looked like getting broken the whole match!

next round will be tougher but I think they can get through..

Great result and here's hoping they can make it through the next round too.

Good on them.... they've started finding form. Both of their next round opponents look pretty tough.

By the way, didn't Martina win the mixed with Leander Paes a couple of years back? Or are we just talking normal doubles that she hasn't made the quarters of since her comeback?

Good to see that Martina has found form. Nice walloping!

I'd like to hear Martina's rolling commentary while on the court.

Go Daniela & Martina

Oh My God!! I would be so happy if Maureen Drake got to play Navratilova in the Third Round. That would be so cool. Also wouldn't mind if Molik and Kuznetsova lost before the QF. Good luck Maureen!!!!
