I'll say 15 winners and 5 errors in the second set...38 winners and 18 errors overall.

Her next opponent, Sania Mirza, does actually hit the ball hard though and does have weapons that can hurt Serena (unlike Pin and Randriantefy), but I can't see Serena being too troubled by her.

Well as well as she did today, I think Serena still prefers to play players with a bit more pace, so her next opponent should be no trouble.

i was gon say the same thing. right now the draw is playin into helping serena fine tune her game. her first opponent was just right for her to get her out there and playing, and now this opponent was more so allowing her to play her game hit or miss she gonna win. 3rd round, she will have the pace factor and she can adjust that into the mix as well. lookin good for serena right now. today she should give herself an A espeically with her serve.

have you all noticed that serena has considerabally added pace to her serve. i mean she was i think hittin maybe 1 2 or 3 193 kmh serves a tournie, and average a like 180-185 kmh, but she is consistenly hittin them, ere since the wta champs serena has be steadily hittin the 120 + which is not usual for her she susually avearges like 115-119

good going serena!

And then she was back, that goddess-like creature, back to torment the souls of the good and distribute free samples of bacon to the bad.

Serena's current play is consistent with her past Grand Slam performances. As she progresses in the draw and begins to play those who can better pressure her service and mental game, we'll see exactly how well Serena's mental game will hold up.
