Article: Private Session with Williams Sisters Up for Grabs (auction already ended)

Article posted below (from wtatour.com)

Wowsa...I'm not a fan of either Williams sister, but think the fact that they are doing so much charity stuff recently is highly commendable! Too bad the auction wasn't allowed to run for longer...but here is to hoping that this showing of good will continues and spreads amongst the WTA ladies...and what an awesome opportunity for whomever wins this bidding contest!

One hundred percent of auction proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities. Hurry and place your bid, the auction ends on Thursday, December 9 at 5:00 PM CST

An exciting, once in a lifetime addition has been made to the NBC Universal All-Star Charity Auction. Bidders have been given the chance to be schooled by two tennis superstars: the Williams sisters, Venus and Serena. The top bidder will enjoy a private one-hour tennis lesson for two people with Venus and Serena Williams. The tennis lesson will take place in West Palm Beach, FL at a mutually agreeable date in 2005. The auction ends Thursday, December 9 at 5:00 PM central.

Presented by the NBC Experience Store, the "Today" show and ShopNBC, the NBC Universal All-Star Charity Auction has been extended by one day for this special tennis lesson. 100% of the proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities, as chosen by the "Today" show's Katie Couric, Matt Lauer, Al Roker and Ann Curry. Bidders can log onto www.shopnbc.com for the opportunity to win this valuable tennis lesson with the Williams sisters and give to charity at the same time.
