Where is Conchita!

Hey all,

I'm in a conchi slump...I miss her and am kinda depressed on the tennis front (not in life though, life is good!). I know she's playing at home against Hingis in an exhibition, but it is so unusual for her to not play the Aussie Circuit, or even one tourny leading up to the AO...Does anyone have good news? How is her injury?

Conchi, You miss Her, I miss Her, That moonballing Star
The headband, the waistline, the occasional cigar
a slam winner,no beginner,some find Her bizzare
is She in training? or weight gaining, just propping up some bar?

After She home moonballs Martina
is that the last anyone will have seen Her
will it be an injury or a blunder
that keeps Her from playing down under?

I hope Conchi will turn up down there
just showing Her normal amount of wear
and launch some looping balls in the air
causing frustration and despair

She would keep those Aussie ballkids on track
demanding Her point winning ball back
they will soon learn the meaning of superstition
if Conchi enters Their competition

Let us hope this aging frequent flyer
regains Her health and Her desire
packs Her clothes and Her racquet
and stays in the top player bracket
because though some Players may not like Her ,some may beat Her
They will all agree ,there is only one like Conchita!

I think she is going to play in Pattaya 2005. Also, I've heard she has asked for a WC in Aukland.

Conchita is simply the best

Conchi is in her town, Monzón. She was awarded yesterday by her four olympic appearances and her three medals. She inaugurated the tennis courts that take her name. She is preparing the next exhibition (w Vivi against Martin and Nadia) and training with views to next season

Vamos Conchi !!!
