Just wanted to let my friends and my not so friendly collegues
on this board know, that my account under DeDe4925 was temporarily suspended because a hacker got into my account and changed my signature and posts to make them derogatorily offensive. I'm sorry if some of you were shocked and offended by the signature and the edited posts, but I couldn't stop the hacker. It happened around 5:00 p.m. CST. We were both in my account at the same time. It was like a virus. I wouldn't have never known if I had not received a bad rep for a post that should not have been bad repped. I read the post and thought I lost my mind. There were very harsh words added that I know I didn't type.
Thereafter, I went to the Bug Reporting Thread and it was deleted. Then my signature was deleted and replaced with words I won't even repeat. I deleted it and it was immediately replaced with something worse. I logged out and never could return because of course it was so bad I'm sure people reported me. I contacted the administrators and the rest is history. So I urge you to contact the administrators immediately if you experience the same thing.
I have started a new account so that I can continue to post until my account is restored. According to Griffin a full investigation into the hacker is in progress. I love tennis and I love this board and my friends, even my not so friendly friends
, and didn't want to stay away for too long while my account is being investigated. I love talking about tennis and the wonderful players on the tour. Regardless of some of my comments about some of the players, without them the tour would not be what it is today. I respect and admire all of the players for what they have accomplished in their respective careers.
So, in closing I advise whomever the hacker is, beware, big brother is watching.
Long live the WTA!!!
