Well, a poll can't get any more cut and dry than this one, can it?

Well, I would have thought obviously Vivi and Paola. Amongst their many titles they've won three of the four GS's, have been world #1's all year. Although they've struggled a little post-Wimbledon, have a losing record to Black/Stubbs and have not been able to beat Petrova/ Shaugnessy all year, they've still consistently won more than the other two teams in the poll this year, and that's what counts.

Vivi & Conchita & Patricia & Paola 2004 Olympic Silver & Bronze medalists, Vivi & Anabel 2008 Olympic Silver medalists - congratulations!
Vivi & Paola ~ Holders of the record number of consecutive US Opens in the open
