Post Has anyone seen ....

Lindsay Davenport? Venus Williams? Martina Hingis? On a tennis court? running? How about Mary Pierce? I have seen Jenn and ... she isn't any lighter than at the end of the season. Is Anna Kournikova really going to prep for OZ for playing a series of exhibitions and two Tier V's? Is Justine Henin 100% healthy? If you go by the last time they were on a tennis court, the OZ final looks like Serena vs Kim, with Jelena and Monica losing in the semis. (That could work. Hmmm ....)

Anybody actually SEEN any of our walking wounded working out?

Not blind. Not uninformed. We are party to atrocities. But the response of the world after 9/11 is worth noting. Even our most dire enemies offered aid. We should all be so lucky.

Justine Henin played some brilliant tennis lastw eekend. She won an exhibition tournament in Belgium by beating Nathalie Tauziat and Amélie Mauresmo in the final (6-1 7-6). She looks ready for the new season with a new service motion, a bit like Rafter's. She said she's been working on her serve and it already showed in that match against Momo. She served something like 7 or 8 aces and several winning serves.
