Wow. Venus must really be playing bad to have this happen.

Ugh...I thought she had that last game.

Venus just NEEDS to get a win over a top 10 player to be back in it...

And having a break point and squandering it when your opponent is serving for the match is something Vee needs to stop doing.

Reminds me too much of her losses at the French and the USO.

What were the last 3 points anybody?!?!

Queen Vee

So for those who saw the match what was Venu's downfall. Unforced errors, serve, forehand, or was Maria that good?

Anyone see the match? Did Masha play well because her form since Wimbledon has been quite questionable (although she seems to had a good couple first rounds). Looks like Vee had a letdown after yesterday's thriller.

I saw part of the second set and Masha was rock solid.Played fantastic tennis when she needed to.Had some great angled shots at times and her serve was good..Venus wasn't bad at all,but as I said before,Masha was just too good.

The match was quite of good quality...Venus just couldn´t cope with Masha´s serve. It wasn´t that Venus played so horrible but Masha was really amazing.

Congrats for beating a Top Ten player Masha (when was the last time???)
