Gaz de France Stars Crowd Attendance

To the Belgian Posters,

How well is this tournament doing attendance wise ? You guys tend to come out in big numbers for the Antwerp tournament and Fed cup matches. It would be interesting to see if they break the record for attendance at a Tier III event. I've seen a couple of photos on the website and the crowds looks sparce.. Apparently they are playing in a indoor arena that seats 13.700 spectators.. Do you guys have any idea

Cheers

I think it would have been sold out had Justine entered.
It's still a tier three event and we shouldn't expect anything much out of it.
I think Japan Open is the biggest tier III event so watch out next week.

The only times when the tribunes look fulled is when Clijsters plays, during all the other matches, there are maybe some hundred people

I know I've been a liar
And I know I've been a fool
I hope we didn't break it
But I'm glad we broke the rules
My cave is deep now
Yet your light is shining through
I cover my eyes
Still all I see is you

the crowd attendence is noting like geoffry said. all week all seats have been empty, and the only time it's filled is when Kim plays (8000-10000 people)

A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening ear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.

It was empty during the kids clinic that Kim did too.

Geoffry is right though

A couple of hundred people in an arena for 13700 people looks like empty...but they're there..

maybe more people would go if the tickets weren't so expensive! for a tier III the prices are really
on a belgian sport site they were giving away 600 tickets this weekend: 200 (100 x 2) for Friday, 200 (100x2) for tonight and 200 (100x2) for the final!
(btw, I won 2 tickets for the final
I think the organisation is really hoping that Kim will be in the final!

COME ON KIM!

Thanks for everything Kim!!!

Yeah it's not bad for a Tier III...I think there's more crowd than there is at The Masters in LA, but that off course, is a minimum

I don't think so, her matches would be like Kim's with big crowds but she wouldn't attract a crowd to a match she isn't playing in

Do you mean the crowd's behaviour or its size?
