Most Underrated Shot in tennis

I think it is Myskina's Backhand. It's such a beautiful stroke, and she can smack that sucker down the line. What do you think?

i was going to say all of myskina's shots actually
i think she looks awkward hitting them, but her change of pace is deceptive off both wings
her backhand is her better side though

edit: i forgot about elena's serve
if you take away the double faults, her serve is actually very hard to attack, predictable as it is
i've only seen serena and svetlana tee off on her second serve consistently

A single flow'r he sent me, since we met./All tenderly his messenger he chose;
Deep-hearted, pure, with scented dew still wet - One perfect rose.
I knew the language of the floweret;/'My fragile leaves,' it said, 'his heart enclose.'
Love long has taken for his amulet/One perfect rose.
Why is it no one ever sent me yet/One perfect limousine, do you suppose?
Ah no, it's always just my luck to get/One perfect rose.

Serena's serve out wide is highly underrated, mostly because her ground game is ferocious. A lot of people talk about her BLISTERING power, but she can place that sucker better than anyone else in women's tennis. Also her short angled ground strokes with topspin are also really underrated.

Golovin's forehand is pretty good, but doesn't get lots of attention. It should, it's awesome for a 17 year old!

Career Grand Slam in your 20s? Been there done that. Career golden slam your 30s?
There's only 1.
Been around the world, copped all 4 thrice.

Serena.[21]

The Pierce forehand. it is not really ever mentioned as one of the best but it is better than Serena's and Jennifers and just as good as linsay's

Henin-Hardenne's Forehand IMO is at least as good as the backhand if not better, but is ignored as a threat becuase her backhand is so unusual looking

Myskina's backhand down the line is a very good shot, but then again it can't be as apparently she has no weapons

I'd say that not many people give credit to Jennifer's volleying. She has got great reflexes up there. Add in Venus' net play. And Elena D's too.

These three ladies know how to cover the net and volley. But its not really ever associated with their games.

Elena Dementieva AFR

Yea, I kind of forgot how frickin' hard Mary hits until I saw her again at the US Open. I would also agree in saying that Myskina's backhand is a lovely shot. It's too bad I don't have that kind of technique. lol

Go Anne Keothavong, Akgul Amanmuradova, Samantha Stosur, Na Li, Liga Dekmeijere, Tamarine Tanasugarn ,Jill Craybas, Daniela Hantuchova, Natalie Grandin, Kimiko Date-Krumm, Elena Baltacha, Melanie South, Dominika Cibulkova, Caroline Wozniacki, Jie Zheng, Andrea Petkovic, Elena Dementieva, Jelena Jankovic

Elena Dementieva's serve but personally I think it isn't that bad it's a nice slice shot and it's taken her to 2 grand slam finals
