It can only do her good. Another 1r loss would be pathetic

Rankings mean nothing at this point. Jelena's life is much more important. She needs to straighten that out before she even thinks about tennis or her ranking

Jelena just take the rest of the year off please. Work out whatever the hell has been bothering you for the past 2 years, and PLEASE play the Australian circuit, it can only do you good. Come back strong please.

Some really good players slipping through personal problems/injuries/loss of confidence -
Dokic, Krasnoroutskaya, Schett, Tanasugarn to name just 4. All are Top 50 plus players. Wishing them all well for 2005.

She might not even qualify for the Australian Open.

Jankovic suffers from severe Chinese syndrome! Only God can help her!

Could everyone please look past the drop in rankings? Jelena's situation is bigger than just tennis. Her life is falling apart. She needs to get herself together and starighten everything in her life out. Tennis is meaningless compared to her mental health and Jelena's mental health isn't good right now. I personally could care less about her ranking. I just want Jelena to get her life together and be happy again.
