One of the most supportive families IMO... Safin. Rausa is always either with Dinara or Marat. What a great mom.

I thought Igor was at Hopman 2003 with Daniela, I don't think he was there this year though. I'm pretty sure I saw him there that year

Maleeva's mum was around until her surgery I think. She says it is better nowe alone because she dos not feel so much pressur. Manuela's husband coached Maggie a long time, too.

FLAVIA PENNETTA

US OPEN CHAMPION 2015

Thank you for all these moments over the last years! Supported you until your final point!

Steffi Graf had a very difficult father, but she was lucky enough to have a supportive, caring, and understanding mother who stayed out of the limelight. Oh, and no list of supportive mothers can be complete without a mention of Colette Evert, Esther Seles, Marisa Vicario, and Oracene Price.

Best left-right combination by a German (and that includes Max Schmeling): Steffi Graf. All she did in 1987 was knock Navratilova out of #1 and try to knock Evert out of the sport. (Mike Lupica in "The Best and Worst of Tennis in 1987", World Tennis)

"A couple of years ago, we nicknamed Steffi Graf's forehand 'Jaws'. And that music would go perfectly when she starts running in to the net, swarming on that little ball." (JoAnne Russell, during the 1988 Wimbledon final between Graf and Navratilova)

These are grown women in their 20's. Their mum or dad not being there providing 24 hour care doesn't make them bad parents.

Exactly and I'm sure the players like Lindsay prefer that their mum's have their own life and don't have to come to every match they play.

I'm tired of all these grown women travelling around with their moms...after they turn 18 the strings should start letting loose and after 21 they should definitely be CUT...do u see grown men travelling around with their moms...

I mean, how is a girl to get any action when her mom is either in the same room with her or next to her

There is NOTHING, like parental and moral support. Children,no matter how old, like to share their joy with their parents....especially if they can do it first hand. I'm sure the majority of players would give ANYTHING, to have A parent in the stands, watching them play and win a match.....Then the huge elation of running and making your way to the stands, desparately trying to get to them, to SHARE the joy of winning........or having parents there, just to recieve those comforting words, and unconditional love, after a disappointing loss!!!

Venus and Serena.....2012 Grand Slam Champions!
The Greatest Ever Grand Slam Team, Does It Again!!!!

And It's Not Over Yet...Just Wait....Wait.
