One more...

Did you know that... Angelique Widjaja won a her first WTA tour tournament on her first attempt as a WC in 2001 , becoming the youngest player to win a tournament all season, at age 16 years, eight months, 18 days; saved 2 mp to d. No. 2 seed Tanasugarn in QF and received a standing ovation after her two-hour, 57-minute SF win over Su-Wei Hsieh; came back from down 2-5, 0-40 to save four set points in second set against Kruger in final; became sixth player to win her debut Tour event and first since 1999 (Henin at Antwerp); was lowest-ranked player ever to win a Tour title at No. 579

Elena Dementieva has a lucky raquet also collect cactuses

Vera Zvonareva lists her most memmorable momment as losing 6-0 6-0 to Nadya Petrova...ironically in a pre-match press-conferance for their 2003 Roland Garros quater final, Petova said she didnt remember ever playing Vera....

Jelena Dokic, has many superstions, bounces the ball at least 5 times before serving, doesnt walk on the lines...eats half a watermelon, half a kilo of strawberrys, and pears everyday, and spends the rest of her time on the toilet presumably.

Nadia Petrova is a keen angler.

Venus Williams has her own designing company and moving company. She will also have her B.A. by the end of the year.

Also Jelena, upon winning a match likes to wear the same clothes and use the same raquet that she got the win with...seems to be avoiding personal hygeine issues by losing in the first round a lot.

No Serena was almost 18. It was 1999, the year that she won her first slam! It was also Mary Joe's last year on the tour.

Did you know that Serena lost only ONE match on american hardcourts in ´99 and that was to her sister Venus in the final of the Lipton, first all-sister final since 18..,?!

That Sandrine Testud was the only player to beat Serena twice that year?!

That in order to win her first Nasdaq title in 2002 Serena beat no.3, no.2, no.1 in three days and didn´t drop a SET??!!! Only second to player to this since Steffi beat no.3, no.2 and no.1 to win ´99 RG?!

That in order to win her first 4 majors Serena beat the defending champion in ALL of them en route to the title?! Lindsay at the ´99 u.s.open, Jennifer at ´02 french open and Venus at Wimbledon and u.s.open ´02. THAT is some record.

Always bet on black!
Can you handle the truth?
