Is it neccesary to have 4 top 15 players in a Tier III? 3 of those 4 players are Russian. Chances are being taken away from younger players who need the experience in the lower tiers to eventually move up to the bigger tiers. I think "Russian Dominance" is overhyped. Sure, they've won 3 GS, but all their other titles were low tiers. They just try and get an easy win, which doesn't help in the long run
Does Masha, The Wimbledon Champion, really think she is going to get better with wins Seoul against players barely in the top 50? I have the answer. No. You have to play people better than you to gain strength and experience and learn.
The only reason there are so many Russians in the top 20 is because they play close to 29 tournaments, except Masha.
I would take advice from one of the wise women in tennis. Quote:
"I think the reason all the top players are getting injured is because they are simply playing to much!" -Martina Hingis
By the way,
Just like Kim Clijsters and Justine Henin-Hardenne, the Russians will get injured badly because they play way to damn much tennis! Look at poor Kimmie
They are so young that they don't know what they are getting in to
